About the Author

Arthur V. Evans is an entomologist, author, photographer, and teacher. His many books include The Lives of Beetles, Beetles of Western North America, and Beetles of Eastern North America (all Princeton). Tugce Okay is a natural history illustrator who works primarily with watercolors. Her work has appeared in many books and magazines.
