As long as I can remember, I have always loved books and reading. I began with Bobsey Twins, Nancy Drew, Beverly Cleary and then onto teenage " girl stories". In high school, I was lucky enough to be hired at the public library in my small New Jersey town. I think they felt that they might as well hire me as I was always there anyway and knew the library well! After two previous careers, I have my dream retirement job - at Island Books! Surrounded by books and people who love books is where I love to be.
