Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10th . . . and its coming fast! In these not-so-normal times everything in life is taking a little longer so we want to give you a heads up, a head start and a helping hand!
It’s safe to say that Mothers are doing more than ever these days. Between working from home, keeping kids on track with distance learning and having everyone in the house 24/7 for these last several weeks, the Moms in our lives deserve an extra dose of attention this Mother's Day.
Since shopping can be a challenge in the best of times, we want to make it as easy for you to shower the Moms in your life with as much love as possible. So, we’ve put together a really special gift bag for mothers that will include a book plus several other of our lovely gift items found around the store…a beautiful bar of soap, two disks of yummy dark chocolate, a box of note cards that sing spring and a colorful Swedish dishcloth.
We’re more than happy to choose a recent release for you (some of which are pictured here) all of which are tried and true staff picks, or if you have a specific book in mind and we have it on our shelves we'll include that. (Special orders are taking longer than usual these days so we can’t guarantee their arrival in time.) The book will be wrapped and beautifully bagged with all the other gifts and we'll also include a Mother's Day card. Now that’s one stop shopping!
Gift bag prices range from $50 to $65 (including tax) depending on your choice of books:
One paperback with all the goodies is $50.
Add another paperback for $15 ($65 total).
Or choose one hardcover instead of paperbacks and the cost is $65.
Your gifts will be available for bookstore bench pick-up here in Wyatt Square or free delivery on Aquidneck Island. And, for those of you with Moms far away, we can ship your gift via USPS Priority Mail for just $7.50.
